Nissan 84-86 300ZX(Z31) Fog/Auxilary Driving Light Bulb Replacement

* note that 87-89 is similar but in a different location.

Steps/Procedures:

  1. Raise headlights.
  2. Remove screw holding fog light in place. (Trim ring has been removed for clarity)
  3. Pull fog light forward.
  4. Disconnect plug by pinching the sides and pulling.
  5. Remove the dust cover by sliding off.
  6. Remove the cap by twising counter clockwise and pulling.
  7. Push spring retainer forward and rotate off bulb.
  8. Pull bulb out.
  9. Disconnect bulb from cap.
  10. Installation is reverse of these steps.
  11. Be sure to align the light as the upper retaining screw is also the alignment screw.
